Something cool happened at the end of last week. Really cool, literally it dumped from 90s during the day to 60s, with it being 45 at night.

That is Texas. Hot, up until it’s not. It’s like someone turned off the furnace.
Every year it happens, and every year it’s glorious.
The dogs love this. I mentioned it to the their old vet years ago, and he said it was normal with these northern European breeds – Shepherds, Labs, this is their element. Not as much loafing. More outside time pestering anyone and anything that comes within 50 yards of the fence.
Aria, not being as needy, is outside until I tell her to come in when I lock the door at night, and is up early and out the door.

Not the greatest picture. She looks chonkier than she is. I shot it through the door trying to catch her doing her “Wake up! I’m up, you need to be too!” morning bark. She wasn’t barking at anything in particular. Just barking to bark is all. Seeing who of her dog buddies were awake in the neighborhood I guess.
Time to stick the liner in one of my motorcycle jackets and start riding more.
It has done that in mobile, got my jacket on since last time this year. Ain’t put on socks yet but it won’t be long. Haven’t run the air conditioner in a week.
