Boot Update
When I walk the dogs, or do any walking, in the cool air, I prefer boots. Matter of fact, I'll wear boots most of the year, except when it's hot. I had a pair of Irish Setter work boots that I loved, that they no longer make. These are 83603 work boots. I prefer the … Continue reading Boot Update
Gratuitous Dog Pic
He was snoring. So I had to get a pic.
Could be Worse…

A Quiet Morning
This week has been cloudy, for the most part, with fog and mist every morning. It's been awesome to sit on the patio, sip tea, and watch the dogs guard against squirrels.
Was it DEI?
There's a lot of speculation flying around about the horrible collision of the army chopper into the regional jet in DC. One thing is certain - the cause will come out. It always does with air disasters. The gubmint might be gape jawed and sluggish, but NTSA, while slower than we like, typically produces factual … Continue reading Was it DEI?
Ask Himself
I don't know why random people tell me things, or ask my advice. Must be that grandfatherly countenance. Years ago, when I lived in Plano, I was on a walk around the neighborhood and as I passed by a mini strip mall, a kid asked if I would buy him e-cigs at the beer and … Continue reading Ask Himself
