As I’ve been being scrupulous about my diet and exercise, I weigh in every month.
This week I’m 215 and change.
That’s 60 lbs from a year ago or so, and 10 under my goal. Why not keep it up?
I’ve increased the length of my 3x weekly bike rides, and I run sprints 2x a week.
One of the guys this Sunday told me I was wasting away (joking, of course). I pulled the neck of my polo shirt and showed off the definition in my chest and shoulders. Not wasting by any means. I’ve been adding muscle mass.
My stamina is also way better as is my BP.
Only downside is my old skin isn’t springing back. I’m getting old-man wrinkly. That’s OK. I’m fine with being a wiry, muscled, mean old man.
By the way, Monday was Aria’s birthday! She’s six years old!
