Stumbled upon this post at Kim DuToit’s site. And I couldn’t agree more.
Over the last few weeks I have probably meant to blog a dozen times about the continuing crisis. But as soon as I start something else even more stupid pops up. This last week it was the illustrious fraud in chief Biden being handed a note on live camera telling him there’s something on his chin. We know this because the full took the note out of the envelope upside down where all could read it. Flipped around, read it, wiped his chin and stuffed whatever it was on his chin in his gob.
Right smack out of the day room in a nursing home.
Every day things get more stupid. Biden was always an imbecile that had done nothing with his life other than sit in elected office. Now he’s old and demented and his vice president is a cackling imbecile.
I don’t know who’s running the show, but it’s clearly being run by those that are greedy, stupid, and incompetent. And they are about to do something, if rumors are true, that will light this country on fire.
You see being stupid and incompetent, they can’t look at data to know that while the other variants of COVID seem more infectious, they also are far less lethal. And every vaccine appears to be far less effective than first thought. So by all means let’s return to it didn’t work before, namely masks and lockdowns and let’s force everyone to get an absolutely useless, and probably harmful, vaccine.
It’s all so tiresome.
FWIW that’s a quote from a Chinese dude in “Empire of Dust”. If you haven’t seen it, you should. In that clip, that line appears at about the 11:50 mark.
Fact of the matter is, I’ve lived through this movie during the Carter years. It may or may not have a happy ending, but for a number of reasons, inflation (which is ~20%) is going to hit recession, and the pain train will leave the station.
I can tell you it sucked. And we are heading for suck factor 5 here.
