You can see where the growth was on his snout. I think it was an infection given to him by a smack on the nose by a feral cat, the one in the car trunk he'd have to investigate each morning. Now, it's just a scar. No telling if his fur will fill back in.

I take the pups for baths at PetSmart. Why? It's half the price, or so, of anywhere else. And how hard is it, after all, to bath and brush them? I can do both in less than an hour. Morning on the patio.

I was cooking breakfast and glanced out the door to see Winston staring at me with the squeaky toy that my youngest gave him. She got each dog one, but he's monopolized them both. It's his favorite thing these days.

First thing after getting home last Sunday night. I gave the dogs a milkbone, and he went out to enjoy his in the freezing temps and wind. He stayed out for a few hours. Both dogs love the cold.

You gonna finish that bacon? Because I, too, am a fan of bacon.

Homey showed up with this the other day: No idea how he did that or whether it just showed up. Seemed to do it overnight. Initially, it was weeping blood. Seems like it's scabbed over, and looking callous like. Lovely. Another vet visit that'll hoover out my wallet.
