Man tossed of a Frontier flight for being rude.
He most certainly was.
I heard this on an Adam Carolla podast. He didn’t say “get out of my way” to the flight attendant, according to them. He glared at the fight attendant and said “MOVE”. He’s an important guy. He has places to be.
A Frontier Airlines passenger was removed from a flight after a confrontation with crew members escalated following an overhead bin dispute. The incident occurred on a flight from Las Vegas to Chicago, where the passenger argued with flight attendants over carry-on storage. He reportedly told a flight attendant, “Get out of my way,” which the crew interpreted as a threat. The passenger then challenged the crew, saying, “You look like you want to do something. Get it. Lie to me,” and claimed he felt “threatened” by the interaction. Despite asserting his statement wasn’t a threat, the situation escalated, and he was ultimately forced off the aircraft. Footage of the incident shows the man removing his belongings from the overhead bin before resigning himself to not flying that day. The event highlights ongoing concerns about passenger behavior and crew response protocols on Frontier Airlines. – AI Magic summary.
He compounded his error by not apologizing and then doubling down on is behavior, being an all around dickhead.
This isn’t rocket science.
You’re in a steel tube with over a hundred other people. You are nobody. You are one of them. And the flight crew – all of them – have total say whether you stay or go. It’s always been thus. You don’t get special privilege because you plunked down $98 for a discount flight. You aren’t entitled to anything other than a seat.
Dude commenting on the video can’t understand what it is. Is it that they are discount?
That’s part of it. But it’s not the cause. Because they are cheap, they get a class of people that can barely behave on a bus, much less an airliner turning it into a ghetto flight. I’ve seen worse at airports at the JetBlue gates. Thanks, but no thanks.
This is why you’ll never see my fat Irish ass on these airlines. I’ll pay for a better airline or fly.
The discount airlines here don’t want this kind of drama and publicity. The passengers don’t want the inevitable delays and drama. Frontier had a duty to kick his ass right off. Maybe he learned, maybe not. He sure hadn’t learned up to that day.
The lesson, one I’ve told many times, is: The world doesn’t revolve around you. Be nice, shut your face, get to your seat, put your shit away and sit so we can take off. For what’s it’s worth to Sideshow Bob here that got the boot – In addition to what you say, it’s your tone, body language, and attitude that got you the boot. Mama should’ve taught you manners.
