O Goody!

Our own local village idiot, Jasmine Crockett is running for the senate.

That’ll be fun. I think she’s doing this because the supreme court blessed the Texas redistricting plan, and she’s out of a job, if memory serves.

I think there are three up for the Republican side; the incumbent John Cornyn, Ken Paxton, and Wesley Hunt, who I’ve never heard of. Cornyn is a RINO for sure, and older than hell. Still, he can lean right when he thinks his gig is in jeopardy. It’s why he’s been running full MAGA, I’m Trump’s right hand man ads all summer long.

Ken Paxton is the real ass kicker here. He’s got the chops that the right likes here.

On the left is our village idiot, some other nobodies, and James Talarico, a heretic whom we’ve seen here before.

Collin Allred was running, but they told him to bail out and run for a safe house seat. He and Beto O’Rourke were the only other two I can remember that went up against the incumbents.

Allred is the safe, damn near white, non-threatening negro that appears lucid and moderate, but in reality is a lockstep hard left cog.

Beto is a do-nothing unaccomplished rich kid that had the cool millennial vibe. He did better than most going up against Cruz, who can be abrasive.

Both have one thing in common; a huge constituency that’ll consistently vote against it’s interests – Liberal women, mostly white.

Talarico doesn’t have that vibe. He is the nebbish that’s play acting man-o-god. Simps don’t resonate with the estrogen enabled base.

Crockett has none of this. All she throws off is the half-witted angry black woman at Walmart vibe. To wit:

• Goofy long fake eyelashes? Check.
• Goofy long fake nails? Check.
• Straight hair wig-hat? Check.
• Loud mouth? Check.
• Imbecile? Check.

She’s the woman you’ll see over and over again on TikTok squawking. Tough sell to most women not like her. Tough sell anywhere outside of south Dallas. She’s not a true believer like the others. She’s an in-it-for-herself grifter fake. Dallas’ own version of Maxine Waters.

Still, there’s entertainment value here. Debates will be fun. But in the long run, whoever it is will get clobbered from whoever, probably Cornyn, runs on the right.
