Aria’s Big Visit

Last Friday, I brought the old girl to the vet for her yearly visit.

She’s lost two pounds, which the vet was happy about. She also admired Aria’s lady curves. She’s a sharp looking dog. Weight control is easy with her. She rarely eats her whole breakfast, and sometimes doesn’t eat it at all. She simply doesn’t eat when she’s not hungry or not feeling it. I’ve had her turn her nose up at treats while walking.

It’s how she is.

Bad news is, they waved off a poop test, figuring she’d had enough stress. So I need to somehow get a sample. Not an easy job since she rarely poops on our walks. I guess I’ll have to forage for one each morning. Lovely.

Worse news, the growth on her eyelid has gotten to a point where I need to do something about it.

Hoof!

There goes a grand. $1145 to be precise.

But it has to be done. If it gets too much bigger, it’ll be harder to deal with, as well as more expensive.

Still, she’s looking spry for a ten year old dog.
