…I needed another hobby. Behold:

That there is a laser cutting/engraving tool.

I’m still figuring out the software. The control software came with it. The design software is going to set me back another Benjamin. At least it’s a perpetual license. I’ll look and see if there’s Linux freeware. I’m sure there is.

I have some projects in mind for Christmas. Time to get the wood tools humming.

I’ll do a full report when I figure it out.
