Don’t Care

Kimmel was supposed to be put back on last night. The two big affiliates dropped as they said they would.

Who cares? Not me, that’s for sure. I have no interest to see what, if anything, he says about his utterly crass ‘joke’ the other day. I listened to Adam Carolla comment on the whole thing. He said it was a misunderstanding. Nope. It was crass. An innocent man was murdered. You don’t dance on his grave, you don’t joke about it.

Dude was never funny, only amusing. The late night hosts these days are pygmies compared to the old-timers like Carson and Leno. None of them are worth the loss of sleep. Matter of fact, I’d guess the only people watching are insomniacs and jobless nuts. Most of us have to get up and work.

I read a funny review this week, that I didn’t save, comparing Kimmel to Howard Stern. Apparently, they both got themselves Yoko Onos and lost whatever talent they had. I know in Stern’s case, after his valentine movie about Wife 1, he ditched her for a ‘model’, and very quickly turned into a bitter old yenta.

Kimmel? who knows. I can’t remember seeing the dude all that much. But it sure makes sense, explaining how you go from “The Man Show” to gibbering like a bitter, purple haired freak on national TV.

Whatever.

They’ve blown whatever the late night model was to pieces.
