    Meanwhile… I was thinking the other day, we could use a Gratuitous Guitar Project Update Picture… or two. That is… providing there are any updated.

    1. I can take a pick of them collecting dust, I suppose.

      I got to thinking the other day that I’d just clear coat the guitar and do the bass with a black rattle can laquer. The stumbling block here is me thinking that instead of spending all that cash on kitting them out, I’d buy another gretsch arch top.

      1. Understandable that. And who doesn’t just love an archtop? (I have 6) I live dangerously close to the local Guitar Center and there’s a small “Mom and Pop” guitar store literally a stones throw from The Boneyard… though there selection is very limited…

        My “Kit” Archie still languishes as well… It was originally procured as a Covid Lockdown project and got shelved for “retirement”. Well… I’ve be so busy working since I’ve “retired”…

        Yeah, at this point I tell myself that wood will be so WELL aged by the time I get to it they can use it to fire the crematory for my carcass.
