It’s been raining a lot this week. So keeping things clean has been a challenge.
It helps that Aria is a fastidious girl. She’ll go out to do her business if it isn’t raining too hard, and when she comes in, her paws hit the towel I have on the floor, so she stays clean.
Winston? Notsomuch.
Dude will happily explore the yard during a downpour. When keeping me company on the patio, he has no compunction whatsoever to lying down on a muddy spot, or even in a muddy bare spot on the lawn. I’ve spent a ton of time this week toweling his muddy ass off.
I swear, Labs can be incredible doofuses.

I’m thinking of Peanust Characters… It was Lucy Van Pelt that was the “Fussbudget”… and of course Pig Pen that was always surrounded by the cloud of dust, aye?
Duke would plod through anything… unless there was thunder. Then it was game over.
