Getting Fit

Weigh-in this month saw me at around the same weight as last month, a little high. But, near as I can figure it’s probably a combination of two things. First is that I haven’t been all that diligent about my diet. More fruit, more eating out than I normally do.

Second is that I now have a few months under my belt with lifting. Much of the added tonnage is probably muscle. I’ve added meat and contour to my shoulders and arms. You can see veins on my neck, shoulders, and forearms. My pants are more tight at mid-thigh, but not the waist. My calves are cut.

I have no belly hanging over my belt, or even close.

I have zero effort running or biking, and I’ve been increasing the weight on my lifts.

I’ll dial back my diet – less carbs, and see where I go from here.
