I ran across a great interview on health on Tucker Carlson’s site:
Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong: You’re Being Lied to About Cancer, How It’s Caused, and How to Stop It
What it’s about: Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong is a surgeon who made billions inventing cancer drugs. He says that Covid, and the vaccines that didn’t stop it, are likely causing a global epidemic of terrifyingly aggressive cancers.
Scary stuff. Keep in mind, curing cancer is this guy’s life work. It’s sad that he had therapies that worked on COVID, but got shunted aside during COVID because money.
Where it’s interesting is his description of T-cells and ‘killer’ cells that are the ones that eliminate infection and inflammation. The key here is to help these cells do their job and get out of the way. His description of what happens during normal cancer therapy was eye opening, especially how he explains why it comes roaring right back sometimes.
But it’s not all bad. He had some prescriptions to stay healthy. You need three things:
- Sleep. T-cells regenerate during sleep. This is something my neurologist told me when I was going through the divorce. “Are you sleeping?” He explained how it was more important than food and gave me a script for Ramelton. Works like melatonin, but stronger. He also said melatonin pills were self defeating in the long run.
- Sunlight. We all know it’s benefits. But apparently it replenished T-Cells. It’s why we tend to get sick in the winter months.
- Don’t eat immunosuppressive foods. Think dyes and over-processed foods.
So sleep, getting sunlight. And having food that doesn’t immunosuppress your bio, the bacteria in your body sends out materials that actually will immunosupress or activate. What do they mean on suppressive foods? Unfortunately, I think most natural foods are fine. It’s the toxins in the food, exactly what I said, the excipients. So when we talk about red dye, the processed foods, all this unnatural processed stuff ultimately cause inflammation. Now, when it gets back to this plasticity of inflammation, inflammation causes immune suppression because it causes all these cells to flip. Yes. From the killer state to the suppressor state, that’s why we said we have this dichotomy of is the cat alive?
Interesting talk. Towards the end we find out that the good doctor bought the LA times. There’s some funny material there too, especially when he explains why they weren’t going to endorse Harris. The funny part was that he didn’t say they couldn’t, but he insisted that they actually would’ve met with her first. One columnist said she was the most consequential VP in history, but choked when the good doctor asked him to explain why he thought that. He couldn’t. So he was jammed from saying that in a piece.
Back to health. I follow this dude on YouTube as well. Good stuff:
Simple Steps:
- Don’t smoke
- Don’t drink alcohol
- Don’t drink soft drinks
- Stay away from refined wheat products like breads and pastas
He’s right when he says that weight control is 80% diet, 20% exercise. Love the line “You can out eat any exercise you do” This is something my brother was told by a doctor. How long did you spend on that elliptical? One bag of chips can put back every calorie you just worked off. I also found, to my dismay, that you can’t bargain with exercise. I’d do a half hour on an elliptical in a hotel while travelling, calculating that I could have two Jack Daniels for the effort. Didn’t work out that way. Especially when those cocktails were before a high calorie restaurant dinner.
That said, I do all this stuff. I kind of stumbled into it myself. Probably explains why I’m never ill. I have some collateral damage from cancer or alcohol, and I brush up against allergies, or feel a sniffle coming on, but it passes by the next day.
