Turns out USAID is in the center of a lot of misery around the world.
It’s interesting to watch who has been ululating and grinding their teeth over this. Looks like they found CPU of the grift machine. Not only did they pay for Politico ‘subscriptions’ they funded advertising and parties so the hoi polloi could kibbutz.
Also telling is the number of organizations that are going dark because Uncle Sugar took his credit card back.
Good. Keep it up. Root it out and brain it with a car battery.
For those despondent over this – it ain’t supposed to work this way. The gubmint isn’t supposed to take our money to fund things that are manifestly not in our interests.
What’s delicious about this is it was created by a phone and a pen (an executive order), so the new guy can wipe it out. It’s a no brainer. Memo to the democrats – had you guys done this by the legislature, it would be harder to kill.

If you ever wondered what all those people leaving the suburbs for the weekend home for long weekends every weekend in their new truck pulling a new trailer with a new side-by-side on it actually do for a living, the answer to a lot of them will soon be “learning to code”…
The spicier version of that is the “newcomer” that never bothered to learn English and him and his familia thousands of miles from home that now have their automagic debit card running out of funds and not refilling at the first of the month.
The latter will be willing to spill blood to get their promised plunder.
