Collin Allred is running against Ted Cruz for senate this year.
I didn’t watch the debate this week because I have no intention of voting for Allred, although I did hear clips on the radio box this morning.
Allred is a magic negro along the lines of Barack Obama. In Grampa Joe’s own words – light skinned, clean, articulate. He was elected to the house back in 2018 by the lily white cat ladies and millennial transplants in North Dallas that wanted to feel good about themselves. He’s done nothing for them in the last six years. He’s done nothing for anyone the last six years, because he’s a scrub.
He appears to have played sportsball for Baylor, and then the Tennessee Titans and by all accounts looks to have been a mediocrity. A backbencher.
He worked as an activist for awhile, then landed at the finishing school for democrat activists and hustlers, Perkins Coie in DC. More to the point, he graduated from law school in 2014, then ran for office, starting in 2017. Three years. In other words, a man of no accomplishment that has not worked a serious day in his life. Like Obama and Biden, the antithesis of everything I’d want as a leader of any kind.
His big thing this time around is painting Cruz as the debbil incarnate and hollering about abortion. The commercials we’re punished with are insulting. Interesting that most of them he’s crowing about playing sportsball for Baylor. Doesn’t mention any other stops he’s had to get here today.
The Abortion thing is all he has. The supreme court kicked Roe back to the states where it never should’ve left. Texas restricts it. FWIW, every time it’s come up, 70% or better of Texas wanted it banned or restricted. That’s how it works. Neither Senator Cruz or Congressman Allred have anything to do with it whatsoever. Numbnuts gets elected, he can do nothing about it. He won’t anyway. If he wants to do that, he can run for a state office, I suppose.
One of the things Cruz pointed out at the debate was that Allred’s record is 180 degrees out of phase with what the average Texan cares about. For instance, he voted for men in women’s sports and locker rooms. It’s on the record.
And that brings up the number one reason not to vote for the punk; He’s not going to fight for you or anything that Texas needs. He’s going to vote the way the inner party tells him to vote. It’s what he’s done so far, it’s what he’ll do in the future. It’s what they all do in that party.
It’s time we sent these useless do nothing career backbenchers packing. He shouldn’t be dog catcher much less a congressman or senator.
