Got a note from MS. They are dumping everyone not on Win11 on their head. Win 10 is what? 5 years old? I think I’m done. I’ll dual boot this tower with Linux and migrate away from MS. Look into the guts of Windows and you’ll find something running called WAAS – Windows as a service. They are heading to a subscription for your OS. That’s where I draw the line. Here’s another one:
Links in outlook use edge instead of default browser
By default, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams will open web links in Microsoft Edge, regardless of your default browser setting on your Windows device. This change is intended to increase productivity and provide a seamless experience when working online.
Why is this happening?
Microsoft is pushing to increase the adoption of its Edge browser, which offers features like improved security, performance, and integration with Microsoft services. By defaulting to Edge for web links in Outlook and Teams, Microsoft aims to encourage users to switch to its browser.
So MS has decided that Outlook doesn’t have to adhere to your choice of browser. You have to go into Outlook options to tell it to use default. Sure. Ignore my Brave secure browser to use one that’s Chromium based that I don’t use and haven’t setup.
I also hate and resent the news feed on my taskbar. That’s next on the kill list.
I’m sick of hearing “Trump Hush Money” Trial. That’s not what he’s being charged with. It’s not illegal to pay a stripper to keep her yap shut. It’s not illegal to make her sign an NDA for it. It’s not illegal to have a lawyer make that happen. I’m not sure it’s illegal that it’s a campaign expense. FFS Think of all the money an energy the Clintons spent on ‘bimbo eruptions’.

Because they lie. Look what happened to Scottie Scheffler. All I heard all weekend was he was taken to jail because he dragged a cop with his car. Turns out, what he said on the TV box was right. All the collected dash cam and body cam footage told another story. An opposite one.
I got stuck behind an old boomer that was giving unsolicited career advice to the poor slob behind the counter at Racetrack. Got old boy’s numbers wrong when he punched them into the lottery box, apparently. I don’t do this. Dude’s life is none of my business. In my experience, dudes work at convenience stores either because that’s the best they can get, or they are working their way up while in school.
Every week there is a neocon from the Heritage Foundation on the morning show I listen to. Every week there’s a dumb premise for what’s going on in the world. This week was that the Russkies were using “McGyver” tactics to defeat our wonderful hardware in Ukraine. You know, like jamming the smart weapons so they miss, and using cheap drones on tanks. So much so that the heroic Ukrainians mothballed them. Sure.
Maybe it’s because in a peer conflict, they’re useless. FWIW, keep in mind that Russia still has a functioning space program. One we used to catch rides into space and back. No Dummies, them.
We’re in for a battering sooner than later:
- China has been dumping US Treasuries and working to replace the dollar as the trade currency.
- Our economy is run by geriatrics that are mostly wrong.
- Dallas Fed points out services are getting pummeled.
IT and other service industries are expecting a battering, and soon. Last time I went to my dentist (who is a former techie), he asked how I was doing. Was my company shedding blood? He has patients that are on the bench.
They are going to burn this whole mess down.

I talk with the Girl every night, usually with the YouTubes that I was watching muted. I saw one the other night, with the standard issue older black guy. Since I wasn’t listening, it took a minute to figure what he was on about. Ahhh…a Depends commercial. He didn’t want his shit dripping during his daughter’s wedding. Who would? Usually it’s the standard issue black woman tucking things into a Depends. BTW, both people that are the main focus there look young enough to not have that issue. Didn’t know that was a black thing.
Hahaha…Man, it’s hard to look tough with your pullup on.
Speaking of dysfunctional private parts:
I can’t count the number of commercials I see for body spray where they flat out say to spray it on your cooch. Old Spice even does one where they endorse spritzing your nob and bollocks.
Why do they do this?
Look at the space in front of the car on the left, a car length from the light. I see this further back in line, where they have more than a car length to the person in front. What the hell?
Only explanation I can think of is the morons are on their mobile. Half the time when I stare at them, that’s what they are up to. Put it down, and DRIVE.
