Look at those Eyes!

I got caught up watching a youtube channel where the dude tries to fix scared shelter dogs.

Look at those eyes! What a fantastic dog! That’s what I was looking for when I found Winston. I’d have adopted him in a second.

The shelter is in California. Somewhere nice, I’m guessing. Because they have amazing dogs. At one point he went through and showed all the shepherds. More than half a dozen.

They aren’t all so nice:

What the hell? So she let him starve to teach the kids a lesson? Wow. Bet they didn’t learn.

Dog adoption pron, I guess. Sad stuff.

But here’s a funnier one:

Too funny. And all the videos on his channels since have the dog hanging out in the shop, completely unflustered by the air tools, saws, and welders.

He had the funniest line towards the end about his daughters wanting a dog. Something like “You know, we’re believers. You can’t tell your kids to pray for a dog, and then when one turns up, send him away”

Indeed.

  1. Rescues all have amazing stories. My Duke was no exception. It would take up too much space here but suffice it to say, the INMATE that trained him for 90 days did an amazing job.

Duke is no longer with me and I struggle with that daily. On the positive side, the Inmate that trained him? He’s now a free man and very active in a church my friend is Pastoring. I’d like to think that Duke’s involvement with him was no small part in that fellow coming around.
