Today is moving day.
As this posts, the movers are probably here. There really isn’t much for them to move. There are tons of boxes, and the heavy stuff. I moved the garage and shed yesterday, mostly. Needless to say, my head is in a better place since I’m more prepared and there’s a gameplan.
Closing is next Friday, then I’ll be done with this shitshow. I’m sure there’ll be another.

The sticky material on a strip of duct-tape is a good metaphor for the function of sex in marriage. If you tore off a strip of duct-tape, even the really good stuff, and then used it multiple times, it would lose its ability to function. It would stop being sticky.
Sex when acquired outside of wedlock dilutes its ability to keep a man-and-a-woman married. The family is the basic building block of society. A married man-and-woman are, hands-down, the best platform for raising children. Ergo, sex outside of marriage pecks away at society’s foundation.

AI is the new marketing buzzword. Like ‘turbo’ and ‘cloud’. I hate cloud apps, like O365. Every ‘cloud edition’ I use sucks balls. Made for lightweights, they are always missing functionality I use. I was editing a spreadsheet shared through O365 and Teams. Could not insert a count function. A colleague shared a Visio diagram made with the free cloud version. Not only could I not make the edits I wanted, I couldn’t get it into big-boy Visio either.
Speaking of IT, every morning I hear an ad for IT training. Get into IT – Security and AI in only a few weeks training! The fool they used as an example got bored of Nursing, and went to IT – in a few weeks. First of – an idiot. Who leaves a lucrative field like Nursing for a crapshoot that is IT? An IT guy can be outsourced (ax me how I know), a nurse cannot. And a few weeks? For Security and AI? Bwaaaahaaahaaaaa! Yeah….no. At a minimum, for security you’ll need a CISSP cert. And a clue. I forgot that. AI and Security are things you will need to have an intellect for. If you don’t get the technology, you aren’t going to get it in a few weeks.

Another reason not to fly SouthWest. I’m sorry, a double-wide isn’t entitled to a free seat. And, in reality, it’ll be two since no one, and I mean no one, wants to be in a row with a huge person. I get it, they gave up. I get not wanting to battle this. But the sense of entitlement of these obese twats is offensive. And Art Sido was right. What we considered ‘plump’ back in the day would be considered fit today.
I’m sick and gottdam tired of assholes driving with their brights on. FFS, if you can’t see to drive on a lit roadway, you don’t need to be driving at all. It goes with my theory that most these days don’t understand, or don’t care, that others are using the road at the same time as them.
Whats up with mouth breathing customer service agents? I was moving my interweb service to the new place and had to listen to horrible mouth breathing, in-between the insufferable upsells. I wanna move my interwebs. I DON’T WANT STREAMING TV! I DON’T WANT YOUR WIRELESS! MOVE.MY.SHIT! Friggin wireless is just a resell of the big three services.
In Tennis news ( I know, so what?), yet another male player in the thousands rating (like 1400th) wallops a way higher ranked woman player. On my walks with the dogs, we cut through a park with tennis courts. There’s a couple pros teaching lessons there. Mostly women. I see women play all the time. they bat the ball back and forth. Every now and then there are men playing. They play for real, For keeps. Where the women send the ball back and forth well, the dudes are sending rifle shots. Not even close.
