This is all that’s wrong with North Dallas:

New Mexico, this time. Always a blue state. Usually a luxury car. Always going -5 mph in the left lane.

I tried to get some good ones for another shithead O’ the week. All Day, every trip, was numbnuttery. I was coming down the frontage road on the North Dallas tollway and saw some nob perpendicular going for the turn lane. I though he’d barged out from a parking lot. Nope. Just some shithead that was in the far right lane and decided to cut across stopped traffic to turn. The best was a fool in an accord or similar car cutting off a tractor trailer in traffic. He just made it. I75 was shut the hell down this week thanks to some idiot doing that exact thing to a tanker truck.

Does no one know how a 4-way stop works anymore? FFS, I had a woman in front of me stop and wait until the car in the crossing street stopped. These people need to be brained with a bowling ball.

I saw a comment about stuff like this (I thought it was here) that all this idiocy could be because of the vax.

Nah. It’s just stupidity. Anyone that rides a motorcycle or bike can tell you it’s perpetual. You can see that bovine stare looking right at you as they wait until you are close enough. Then they go right out in front of you. They look but don’t see.

Speaking of bikes, I ride my bike three times a week now. I consider myself a pedestrian and not entitled to hog a lane. I tend to navigate around traffic like a remora in a pack of sharks. You know why we do what we do? Because waiting on your dumb ass to make a decision makes us lose momentum. I see you. I expect you to go. Fuggin GO!

Got this from Knuckledraggin‘. If you haven’t read Thomas Sowells memoir, or Walter Williams one, you should. They both overcame hardships to become who they are (were). Pro tip – they didn’t know those were hardships. They were simply problems to solve.

Seemed cool. Very military. Just about useless in the Texas heat. There’s no vent. See the walls sort of pooched out? Yeah. Gotta open it slow. It’ll hiss vapor for a good long while. So I decided to empty it in the car. That spout has a vent tube and everything. It blasted gas all over the car, all over me and all on the ground. Do yourself a favor, get a JustRite. Worth the extra dough. I have two. Little push on the handle and the vapor vents.

It’s the beginning of the month. Time for weigh in. At the docs I thought for sure I was 225.

Nope. 219.

That’s 56 pounds.

Now that I’m starting to run, weight is falling off, muscle is showing. And I really don’t think I’m working that hard at it. I exercise every day. I eat eggs every morning, a salad of some sort at lunch, and a small dinner. Usually a small serving of meat and a couple veggies. Easy on the bread, rice, taters.

I take my prayer life as serious as I do exercise and diet. Both my body and mind are hardening. My blood pressure problems all but solved. The shitshow I’m in has no effect any longer.

I’m off to the beach this week to visit with my family, most of which learned about the divorce only a few weeks ago. Huh…I thought my brothers and the one sister I talked to would spread the word. Apparently not. This’ll be fun.

Even more so, Since herself is packing her stuff this week my lawyer said to lock up or move anything I intended to keep. I did a bit of that, but really we’ve worked out the list.

Still, I have a new safe, and I added a few locks.

For the foreseeable future, I guess I can’t just throw stuff in a bag and go.
